GP Strategies Introduces New Head of Sales HCT Americas

GP Strategies is pleased to welcome Nick Varone as the new Head of Sales HCT Americas. Nick is a senior executive with +20 years of experience in Sales Leadership/Sales Management within the Global HR Services Outsourcing industry.

Nick Varone was born and educated in Canada, except for seven years of intermediate schooling in Italy. After finishing his education at Ryerson University, he joined a major Canadian bank and was soon working in the sales department of their payroll services division.

Over the next twenty-five years, he has accepted ever-increasing responsibilities in various corporations for direct sales, sales management and, as a proactive sales leader for the management and coaching of sales associates in his areas of responsibility. Recently, he was AVP Sales HCM Cloud Eastern North America for Oracle Corporation to help North American companies unlock the possibilities delivered by HCM Cloud technologies. As Head of Sales for Americas, overseeing NA and LATAM business, Nick has a special focus on attracting, mentoring and retaining top talent for optimal results. Nick lives in Toronto and is married with three adult children; he enjoys family-related activities and outdoor sports such as golfing, fishing, skiing, and hunting.

At GP Strategies Nick will focus on leading and coaching a national team of sales professionals to deliver bottom-line value-added solutions for both existing and new customers. As a trusted advisor who truly understands the strategic value of customer retention, his driving force will be the maintenance of positive customer relations and continuous workforce transformation.
