Project at a glance
In a seven month delivery from kick off to go live, the team moved a global, mature and finely tuned HR system from on premise to cloud with GP Strategies as proud implementation partner. Danfoss went live with Employee central and several integrations for 27 000 employees in 56 countries.
The time perspective of moving a global, mature HR system from on premise to the cloud inclusive many integrations was a challenge. Also, Danfoss had a big change management task with this project, where numerous local HR administrators had to learn how to use an entirely new system. But despite initial concerns, the project has progressed beyond expectations.
“Thanks to the support of GP Strategies, we managed to painlessly move our heavily customized on premise SAP to a modern, digital and user-friendly Employee Central solution. This was achieved in only 7 months from kick-off to go-live.”
– Olivier Durand, HRIS & HR Processes Director at Danfoss
By changing from SAP HCM on premise to SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, Danfoss has moved into the web-based HR space. With a product designed for the end-user in mind and aligned to the latest SAP Fiori UI guidelines, this will automatically help improve end-user adoption. By including ESS and MSS in the scope the systems, they will also empower employees within the realm of HR on a day-to-day basis, boosting the employee experience. Congratulations, Danfoss.
